What Are Soil Microbes?

The reason we have soil microbes for sale is the difference we have seen them make in the lives of our customers. It seems like such a simple step, but introducing soil microbes into the ecosystem of your landscape will make all the difference. Soil microbes are living organisms that help your yard keep a sharp, vibrant look. The microbes are invisible to the naked eye. They play a vital role in the health and well-being of your grass. Microbes assist in breaking down and decomposing dead plants and animals and carry nutrients through the grass root system. Keeping soil microbes present and active in the ecosystem of your yard will keep your grass fresh and green.

Benefits of Soil microbes

The biology of your soil microbes is essential for the life and growth of insects, earthworms, plant roots, grassroots, and animals. Soil microbes help break down crop residues as well as help new growth. Soil microbes play a crucial role in maintaining healthy and fertile soil. Here is a breakdown of the reasons soil microbes are essential for your yard or garden. Wind River’s formula blend has 74 different species of soil microbes that are designed to work together and help your yard grow lush and green.

Soil Health and Fertility

Soil microbes are perfect for landscapes that have lost their luster and vibrance. Soil microbes create a diverse and prosperous environment to help grow healthy grass. Soil microbes break down organic matter, suppressing most types of soil-born disease. This product will cause your soil to break down and become more porous and crumbly. This will allow air and water to penetrate the root system of the grass. By breaking down organic matter, microbes also release nutrients that will assist in plant growth. If you are tired of having a dull, unappealing landscape, we highly recommend you try this product.

Protect your environment

Besides breaking down organic matter, soil microbes can assist in breaking down harmful chemicals such as herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers. Introducing these microbes into your soil also will stabilize soil particles, which will help keep the ground from eroding over time.

Nutrient Cycling

Soil microbes break down organic matter into small compounds, causing plants to be able to use the organic matter as food. If soil microbes did not do this process, it would cause organic matter to build up in the soil over time, causing it to be infertile. Soil microbes also play a part in the growth of your grass by releasing nutrients such as potassium, phosphorus, and nitrogen.
