- Prepare the area by removing weeds first. Then, for added protection, apply a pre-emergent herbicide before laying down fabric.
- Unroll the fabric and cut to the desired length. Cut slits or an “X” to fit around plants, and ensure that each piece overlaps by 4-6 inches. Secure to the ground with SRW Fabric Staples.
- Finally, cover the fabric with 3-4 inches of mulch, stone, or bark…and you’re done!
