Choose by lumens (not watts). Rough guide: paths 150–300 lm, shrubs/walls 300–600 lm, tall trees 600–900+ lm.
2700K warm white for natural, inviting tones; 3000K slightly crisper; 4000K+ modern/cool.
Many 12V LEDs are, with compatible magnetic or electronic transformers. Check bulb and transformer specs.
Most landscape fixtures take replaceable 12V bulbs. You can swap them as long as you match:
Base: G4 bi‑pin for paver/step lights; MR16 (GU5.3) for spots; PAR36 for well lights.
• Voltage: 12V low‑voltage to avoid damage or dim output.
• Size/fit: Ensure the lamp physically fits the housing and lens.
• Beam and lumens: Choose angle and brightness for your application.
• Color temperature: Warm 2700K keeps a cohesive look outdoors.
• Weather sealing: Reinstall gaskets; moisture intrusion shortens LED life.
