Poly/palm blends are durable and give a balanced texture, good for larger pours and mixed conditions. Horsehair gives a finer, softer texture suited to decorative slabs and lighter traction. Palm fiber sits in the middle, a solid choice for everyday pads and sidewalks. Check the individual product specs to see which bristle type fits your project.

Our threaded wooden handles offer a universal fit across brooms and squeegees, so you can swap heads without buying a new handle each time.

For foot traffic areas, a medium broom finish gives a good balance of grip and easy cleaning. Go slightly more aggressive on exterior steps or steep slopes, and lighter on decorative patios or anywhere easy cleaning matters most.

Keep a consistent pull speed and pressure, overlap your passes slightly, and work in a straight line from joint to joint. Clean the bristles often as you go and avoid brooming over standing water.

Yes. Heat and wind cause the surface to set faster, which raises the risk of drag marks, so start earlier with lighter pressure and clean the bristles frequently. In cool, humid conditions, give the bleed water more time to clear before brooming to avoid smearing the paste.

A squeegee helps control water and manage sheen during finishing, which pairs well with a broom finish for a cleaner, more even result. It's especially useful for edge work where a broom alone is harder to control.

A hydro-broom uses water flow to rinse and refresh bristles as you work, which helps keep the finish consistent across a large pour and cuts down on slurry buildup.

Rinse the head right after use, comb out any debris, and hang it to dry bristles down. Store it flat or hanging so the bristles don't bend out of shape. Replace the head once the bristle tips fray or clump, since texture quality drops quickly after that.
