Typically, a transformer with a capacity of 20-30% more than the total wattage is best. You may need a larger transformer or multiple transformers if you plan to spread the lights over a considerable distance.
The number of LED lights you can connect to a low-voltage transformer depends on the total wattage of the lights and the transformer’s capacity.
