The answer to “Who are we?” is quite simple. We are a hardscape supply store that seeks to serve everyone from experienced contractors to first time DIYers. Since 1999, Sauder’s Hardscape Supply, LLC is best known for delivering outstanding value, high quality retail, and wholesale hardscape supplies from different manufacturers. Sauder’s Hardscape Supply is known for its exceptional customer service to homeowners and contractors in Lancaster County and surrounding areas. Our state of the art showroom is open year round and features a wide array of hardscape materials. In addition, it is a preferred destination of customers and contractors looking for hardscape design.
We also have experienced employees available to answer your questions in-store or online. And for those who are looking to connect with experienced contractors, we can help to find someone local to your area that can do great work. Our wholesale hardscape supplies team includes personnel with ICPI & NCMA credentials and years of on the field experience ready to provide customers with advice on the installation of hardscape, outdoor lighting, fire and water features, outdoor fireplaces, veneer stone, natural stone, and project design. Mahlon Stoltzfus
CEO | Owner
Mahlon has been President/CEO since 2016. Under his leadership, strong work ethic, and forward vision the company has expanded and maintained steady growth. His hardscaping experience has been key in understanding the constant changes in the hardscape industry. His approach to innovation has given a competitive advantage for the company and a strong opportunity to be a significant leader among the hardscaping companies in our area. Mahlon enjoys game time with his children, especially playing chess. Running a machine is a favorite way of getting rid of stress. He loves finding effective solutions to problems, particularly those that are hands on.

James Stoltzfus
General Manager | Owner
James joined the company in 2015. His work experience includes 25 years in the hardscape/masonry industry. His knowledge with design and installation in hardscape have been strong assets in the growth of the company. James is a gifted designer and has used his talents to revamp our indoor and outdoor showroom displays periodically. He enjoys creating new outdoor living spaces that are practical and enjoyable for the whole family. James’ favorite hobbies include biking, hiking, and any other outdoor activity. When dreaming about outdoor living areas, he considers 50% of fun and the other 50% building and enjoying the area created!

Alvin Stoltzfus
Chief Financial Officer | Owner
Alvin has been part of Sauder’s Hardscape from the time he and his brothers purchased the company 6 years ago. He has 12 years of hardscaping and masonry experience. His familiarity with the hardscaping and masonry industries has helped him provide expert support and guidance to our retail customers and contractor. Alvin enjoys working on different projects around his dairy farm. The farm has been part of the Stoltzfus family for six generations. Alvin also enjoys spending time with his family. He loves to travel and interacting with people from other cultures.

Phil Herr
General Operations Manager
Phil has been part of the team since 2015. Earlier in his career, he was employed in the transportation industry. Phil is always ready to help his clients grow their business. He has tremendous knowledge in the hardscaping industry and puts customer service as his highest priority. Phil enjoys spending time with his two daughters. He loves photography, travel, and nature.

Martin P. Ramirez
Human Resources Manager
Martin started working for Sauder’s Hardscape in summer of 2013. Before joining the Sauder’s Hardscape team, Martin was a Store Manager for a local retailer. Martin considers customer services as the foundation of success to any business. He enjoys reading, writing poetry, and listening to instrumental music.

Benjamin Stoltzfus
Retail Sales and Dispatch Manager
Benji started with Sauder’s Hardscape Supply in March 2021. His experience in the hardscaping field adds incredible value to our customer service as he relates to contractors and retail customers alike. He enjoys water sports.

Burt Hey
Field Service Specialist
Burt joined our team in fall of 2019. Previously, he worked as Facilities Director at Joy of Living Camp, in Brinkhaven, Ohio for 12 years. His drive to help the company be successful is a great asset for the team. Burt’s personal interests include cycling and hiking. He considers himself a gearhead and enjoys all things Ford. Burt enjoys spending time with family and considers it among his favorites.

Tana Hey
Administrative Assistant
Tana started her employment with our company in September 2021. Before joining Sauder’s Hardscape Supply, Tana worked 12 years, as a Summer Camp Director at Joy of Living Camp in Brinkhaven, Ohio. She loves her coffee black and her chocolate dark. Tana enjoys collecting things made from clothespins.

Josiah Stoltzfus
3D Designer | Marketing Director
Josiah joined the team full time in the summer of 2019. Since then he has worked in various roles including the yard, 3D designer, and marketing. There was also a span of time where he was studying at Faith Builders. Currently his time is spent mostly in designing and marketing.

Kendra Stoltzfus
Payroll | Admin. Support
Kendra started her employment with our company as a part-time employee in 2022. Previously, she was an employee at Beacon Lawncare and Landscaping, and she volunteered at Hayloft Ice Cream. Currently, she is also volunteering at Community Care Center. She enjoys anything outdoors like camping and flower gardening.

Paul Fisher
Retail Sales Associate
Paul joined Sauder’s Hardscape Supply in 2023. Previously, he owned a candy shop in Reading Terminal Market for twenty-three years. His hobbies include woodworking, spending quality time with his family, and singing and playing instruments with his daughters.

Christian Arlito Menjivar
Sales Assistant
Christian joined the team in June of 2023. Before coming to Sauder’s Hardscape, he was a teacher at Red Creek Mennonite School for three years. Christian enjoys playing volleyball and spending time with friends.

Chris joined the Sauder’s Hardscape Supply team in mid-2018 as a part-time helper. He has gained plenty of experience in product knowledge, yard locations, and organization of yard materials. He enjoys playing volleyball and spike ball. He also enjoys hanging out with his friends and spending time with his sibling’s.

Micah started working at Sauder’s Hardscape in February of 2025. Previously, he worked for Keylink. He enjoys doing things outdoors like hiking, running, swimming, etc.

Asna started at Sauder’s Hardscape in 2024. Before coming here, she was employed at Kati Culinary Restaurant. Her favorite hobby involves making art and craft projects.

In the early summer of 2026, Marshall began his employment at Sauder’s Hardscape. He worked for Martin Energy Group, LLC before coming here. He is currently working towards his bachelor’s degree in business. One of his favorite past times is waterfall hiking.

Cory Quinet
Financial Accounting Specialist
Cory joined the Sauder’s team in 2019. His attention to detail and his appreciation for “crunching numbers” are a great contribution to our accounting department. Cory worked as Head Baker and Breakfast Coordinator at the University of Connecticut for 5 years. He enjoys classical music and reading Christian fiction based in Lancaster County settings. He played the French horn in his high school marching band.

Dispatch and Transportation Coordinator
Marek joined the team in January of 2024. He was previously employed with Fresh Vision and Choice Books. A few hobbies he enjoys are hunting and traveling.

Willy Leinbach
Senior Sales Associate
Willy joined the wholesale team in 2018, having spent 7 years in sales in both retail and wholesale sale markets. He manages the wholesale accounts in the New England states and enjoys the challenge of bringing new products to the market. Willy loves spending time with his wife and children, volunteering at the local fire company, and spending time outdoors hiking and hunting.

Ammon was employed at Sauder’s Hardscape in 2026. Previously, he was self-employed. He enjoys reading.

Jayden Stoltzfus
Jadon joined the team in 2026. Previously, he was a teacher at Hampton Mennonite School. He enjoys playing his guitar.

Ben Stoltzfus
In Loving Memory
Ben was the father of Alvin, James, and Mahlon. Ben was considered Grandpa not only by his grandchildren at Sauder’s Hardscape but also by the other employees. Good memories of Grandpa at Sauder’s include the hotdogs he roasted over his trash pile and his nifty golf cart that he used to keep the yard clean of trash.
July 20, 2025, Grandpa did not wake up due to a stroke. An MRI showed severe damage to his brain limiting swallowing, paralysis to his right side, and the inability to speak. Grandpa requested no life support or feeding tube in his living will. The family honored that request and transferred him home from the hospital on Tuesday. Grandpa slowly declined. Sunday morning, July 27, Grandpa went home to be with Jesus.
Grandpa is loved and greatly missed here at Sauder’s Hardscape.
